German Pekin Hatching Eggs

From mid March we have had 7 or 8 eggs per day. These are ideal for hatching in a domestic incubator or broody hen.

Fertility of ducks eggs depend on many factors and is never as high as the fertiltiy of hens eggs. Even the cold weather can put the drakes off mating!!

We naturally cannot guarantee the fertility of our eggs but with stock in good condition and with a diet of good food with plenty of grass and natural protien they must be off to a good start.

Our German Pekin eggs are normally very consistent in shape and size but any that are not are rejected and eaten. Our eggs are stored at the optimum temperature (12-14°C) until dispatched.

We try to ensure all our eggs are dispatched within 48 hours of laying and we keep you fully informed, so you know when they will arrive.

We have found over the last five years that the hatching rates have not been reduced after transportation through Royal Mail. However Pekin eggs and Indian Runner ducks eggs require a little more experience to hatch than hens eggs.

When you order from us we supply you with our contact phone number. All our customers are welcome to call for advice, if required.
